Channel A’s Monday-Tuesday drama Show Window: The Queen’s House ended on its highest ratings yet.

According to Nielsen Korea on January 19th, the 18th broadcast of the drama scored an average nationwide viewership rating of 10.3 percent. This is the highest rating that Channel A’s drama has scored in its broadcasting history.

The show centers on a woman named Han Sun Joo (Song Yoon Ah), a wife and mother of a seemingly perfect family. Her life turns upside down due to the excessive ambition of her unfaithful husband Shin Myeong Seob (Lee Sung Jae). The drama drew much attention with its suspenseful first scene where Yoon Mi Ra (Jeon So Min), Myeong Seob’s mistress, appeared covered in blood on its premiere episode.

Although the drama ended with a bang, Jeon So Min received mixed reviews. Some argued that the role did not suit her, as her bright and cheerful image from Running Man is too strong. Others left positive reviews, saying that Jeon So Min has undergone a great image transformation.

In the last episode, Shin Myeong Seob and Yoon Mi Ra paid for their misdeeds. Shin Myeong Seob tried to put all the blame on Yoon Mi Ra, so she stabbed him with a knife. Yoon Mi Ra was sent to prison, where she asks Han Sun Joo for forgiveness. Han Sun Joo left a strong impression on the viewers by saying, “From now on, I will live my life to the fullest,” at the end of the show.
