‘Squid Game’ Nominated in 3 Categories at 2022 Golden Globes

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) has unveiled its Golden Globes nominations on the 13th. The Netflix original series Squid Game and its cast members Lee Jung Jae and Oh Yeong Su are nominated in three different categories for the award.

The Korean drama Squid Game is nominated for Best Television Series – Drama alongside The Morning Show (APPLE TV+), Pose (FX), Lupin (Netflix), and Succession (HBO/HBO MAX).

Lee Jung Jae, who starred as the main character Ki Hoon, is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama, competing with Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong in Succession, Billy Porter in Pose, and Omar Sy in Lupin.

Oh Yeong Su, who played Il Nam, is nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role on Television, alongside Billy Crudup and Mark Duplas in The Morning Show, Kieran Culkin in Succession, and Brett Goldstein in Ted Lasso.
