The representative continued, “Due to the situation at hand, we have made the decision to put on hold the series’ premiere to achieve a safe working environment. Looking at the production schedule, we came to this conclusion to provide viewers with the best possible viewing experience.”

Set at a private high school encompassed with corruption, Melancholia stars Im Soo Jung as a passionate math teacher named Ji Yoon Soo and Lee Do Hyun as a former math prodigy who has lost his passion for math, Baek Seung Yoo. It depicts a heartwarming story of them fighting to overcome social conventions and prejudices.

Melancholia will now premiere on November 10th instead of the originally scheduled November 3rd.
