Yoon Shi Yoon is considering his comeback to the small screen with a new weekend drama by Record of Youth writer Ha Myung Hee.
According to Hangkyung, the title role for KBS’s new weekend drama Hyun Jae is Beautiful (literal title) went to Yoon Shi Yoon. In response, Yoon’s agency shared that the actor’s positively reviewing the offer.
Hyun Jae Is Beautiful is a new series by writer Ha Myung Hee, who wrote Doctors, Temperature of Love, and Record of Youth. The series will tell a realistic story of the youngsters these days who don’t want to date or get married. In the end, it will re-evaluate the meaning of family.
Lee Hyun Jae, the main character of Hyun Jae Is Beautiful, is a divorce lawyer. He’s the kind of person who can survive in any situation and has an excellent ability to compromise and mediate. He was always busy and was never that into getting married and settling down. But when he meets Hyun Mi Rae, who wants to file for annulment, his life slowly changes.
In addition, The Great King, Sejong and Everybody Cha Cha Cha director Kim Sung Geun will helm the production.
Meanwhile, Hyun Jae Is Beautiful will air as a follow-up of A Gentleman and a Young Lady, which will premiere next month.
