YoonA took on the narration for the barrier-free version of the movie House of Hummingbird.
On the 24th, KOBAFF shared that they had the chance to record the narration for the barrier-free version of House of Hummingbird in July with director Kim Bo Ra and actress YoonA.
Director Kim Bo Ra stated, “It was a precious experience to direct a movie with a special method. It was difficult at first, but I learned how to approach the audience, who saw and heard the difference from my previous works, more closely.”
YoonA, who participated in the project, said, “I like (listening to) narrations. And because this is such a meaningful opportunity, I did not hesitate to take part in it. I was especially glad to join the barrier-free version of House of Hummingbird.”
“House of Hummingbird is a movie that won many awards at various film festivals. I watched the movie multiple times and I was deeply impressed by it. So, I went around recommending it to people,” she continued. “I hope that barrier-free versions would become more diverse in the future so more people can be a part of great work together. Also, it was a very meaningful time to be able to participate in the project using my voice. Please continue to support barrier-free films.”
The barrier-free version of House of Hummingbird will be available from September.
