On July 19th, it was reported that Hospital Playlist star Jo Jung Suk is reportedly in talks for a guest appearance at SNL Korea reboot.

Jo Jung Suk‘s agency JAM Entertainment responded, “Jo Jung Suk received an offer to make a guest appearance in the show and is contemplating the offer.”

SNL Korea is the first original variety show presented by Coupang Play. This Korean version of NBC’s long-running comedy program Saturday Night Live wrapped up its production in 2017 after nine seasons. And later this year, the reboot will premiere as Coupang Play original show.

Earlier today, SPOTVNEWS reported that SNL Korea had invited Lee as the first guest. Since the first season, the production crew had worked hard to cast him, and their dream has finally come true. In response, the actor’s agency, BH Entertainment, shared that Lee is positively reviewing his appearance.

Expectations are growing ad Lee, who had rarely appeared on variety shows, seeks a challenge to undergo a complete transformation on SNL Korea.

Meanwhile, Lee recently became the first Korean actor to present an award at the closing ceremony of the 74th Cannes Film Festival.
