Will BTS and Coldplay collaborate on a song?
On Thursday, the lyrics of “My Universe,” presumed to be a new song by Coldplay, were registered on Matchlyric. But what caught the attention was the fact that the song has Korean lyrics with BTS as a featuring artist.
In addition, a part of the song was leaked online. And in the file, you can hear Chris Martin singing with a man who is believed to be BTS’s Jungkook. Naturally, attention focused on the possible collaboration of the two groups.
In the related note, Warner Music Korea and Big Hit Music cautiously responded, “We can’t deny or confirm the news.”
BTS and Coldplay have never officially worked together before. However, they have exchanged musical ideas by covering or recommending each other’s music.

In February, BTS covered Coldplay’s hit song “Fix You” on MTV Unplugged Presents. In response, Coldplay shared the performance video on Twitter with a short caption, “Beautiful BTS.”
This isn’t the first time ARMY has guessed BTS’s voice from a piece of music that wasn’t officially released. Back in January, ARMY guessed that BTS sang Coca-Cola Indonesia’s advertisement just from members’ voices. At the time, Big Hit confirmed that BTS did indeed sing the particular song.
