WekiMeki’s Kim Doyeon will be joining One the Woman.
According to media outlets, Kim Doyeon has joined One the Woman as young Jo Yeon Joo/Kang Mi Na, played by Lee Hanee. This will be the first time that she will be playing a double role.
One the Woman is a comedy series about a corrupt prosecutor who one day loses all of her memories and changes places with a conservative housewife who looks just like her. It’s the new project by director Choi Young Hoon, whose credits include Good Casting, Band of Sisters, and High Society. Lee Hanee, Lee Sang Yoon, Jin Seo Yeon, and Lee Won Keun have officially joined the production.
Kim Doyeon will play two roles: corrupt prosecutor Jo Yeon Joo and Kang Min Ah, the modest daughter-in-law of a chaebol family. Earlier, THE BOYZ’s Younghoon was cast to play young Han Seung Wook, played by Lee Sang Yoon.
Meanwhile, Kim Doyeon made her acting debut with the 2018 web series Short. Since then, she solidified her position as an actress with works like Be Melodramatic and Pop Out Boy! Currently, she is starring in My Roommate Is a Gumiho as Bae In Hyuk’s younger sister. On top of that, she played the young Jun Ji Hyun in the upcoming tvN series Cliffhanger, continuing her busy work.
Meanwhile, One the Woman will premiere later this year.
