BLACKPINK’s “Ice Cream” Hits 300 Million Streams on Spotify

BLACKPINK has yet again made an achievement on Spotify, the global streaming platform.

According to YG Entertainment on the 29th, the group’s “Ice Cream” has recently surpassed 300 million streams on the streaming service.

This is BLACKPINK’s fourth song to reach such records, after “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” and “DDU DU DDU DU.” It is also their fifth if we put their collab song with Dua Lipa into account.

“Ice Cream” previously rose to the top of iTunes’ Worldwide Song Chart as soon as it was released. It also made history for K-Pop girl groups as it rose to 13th place on Billboard’s HOT100 chart even without promotional activities. BLACKPINK’s double title song “STAY” from their second digital single SQUARE TWO also reached 100 million streams.
