Park Jinyoung, aka GOT7’s Jinyoung, may join Yumi’s Cells.

According to Sports Chosun, Jinyoung was offered to play Yoo Bobby in tvN’s upcoming series Yumi’s Cells. Yumi’s Cells is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. Furthermore, Memories of the Alhambra writer Song Jae Jung will take on the series as the project creator.

Like the webtoon, the drama revolves around a 30-year-old ordinary office worker named Yumi (played by Kim Go Eun). But the story unfolds from her brain cells’ point of view. In particular, the story of Yumi with three different men will enthrall the viewers. And among these three, Jinyoung will likely play Yumi’s second boyfriend, Yoo Bobby. In other words, if he joins the project, he will be starring opposite Kim Go Eun in season 2.

Yumi’s Cells is written by Memories of the Alhambra writer Song Jae Jung, Find Me in Your Memory writer Kim Yoon Joo, and rookie writer Kim Kyung Ran. Familiar Wife and Shopping King Louie director Lee Sang Yeob will helm the production.
