MAMAMOO’s Wheein confirmed her solo comeback for the upcoming 13th.
The group’s official SNS released her photo of the first mini-album Redd to inform fans of the comeback.
In the image, Wheein looks at the camera with a piercing gaze in a space covered in red. The color contrast and her dramatic change in style drew the viewer’s attention.
With this, Wheein is making her solo comeback in a year and seven months after “Soar” in 2019. Like its literal meaning, Wheein’s first mini-album Redd embodies “getting rid of the untruthful taste and style attached to our bodies and minds, and show who we truly want to be.”
Wheein participated in making her first mini-album, voicing her own style of music.
