Hip-hop artist Verbal Jint is coming back in six years with a new full-length album.
According to Otherside on the 29th, the singer will release the album at 6 PM KST on April 6th. The upcoming album is named Point of Inflection (literal translation).
It is the first full-length album of Verbal Jint since GO HARD Part 1: Yanggahchi in 2015. With the news of his comeback, Otherside released a still of the album. In the photo, the artist is walking past the six full-length albums of his.
The title track “Public Figure” (literal translation) is a song that explores what it means to be a public figure. Verbal Jint expresses himself from various perspectives through philosophical lyrics. With Swings featuring on the track, the song will send a profound message of what he wanted to convey as a “Public Figure.”
His agency said, “The album embodies Verbal Jint’s vibrant and unique music style as he focused on writing, composing, and arranging all the tracks. As long as it took for the seventh full-length album to be released, Verbal Jint worked extra hard on it.”
Physical albums of Point of Inflection will be available in limited quantity, along with merchandise to celebrate its release. More details are to be released later on.
