SBS’s Joseon Exorcist production company announced the follow-up plan after the show’s cancellation and production.
They released an official statement clarifying their position on the 26th, saying, “The production has been halted. We fully acknowledge the gravity of this issue. We will do our best to minimize the damage that goes to the staff and officials of the work.”
Regarding the show being streaming overseas, they stated, “Joseon Exorcist’s team is in the process of terminating its copyright contracts with foreign distributors. All overseas streaming services have already taken down the show, and if not, they will do so by the end of the day. We sincerely apologize once again for inconveniencing the viewers.”
