According to media outlets, the actors and some production staff will leave for Bogota, Colombia, in July to resume filming.

Bogota is a crime thriller drama film about young people who emigrated to Colombia in the 1990s. Song Joong Ki plays Gook Hee, a young man in his 30s who immigrated to Colombia and settled in a local traditional market.

The original script entirely takes place in Bogota, Colombia. After the pre-production, the team headed to Bogota in January 2020. But when they finished about 40% of the filming, the pandemic broke out. As a quarantine measure, the Colombian government banned foreigners from entering the country for its citizens’ safety.

As a result, Song Joong Ki, Lee Hee Joon, and staff temporarily halted their production on March 24th last year and returned to Korea.

After much discussion, the Bogota team decided to leave for Bogata in July. They will return after filming for a month. Prior to this, they will film in Korea from May to June.
