Park Ha Sun might be joining Gong Hyo Jin in the new Netflix original drama Woman in Crisis �(literal title).
According to media outlets, Park Ha Sun has been offered the lead role in the makjang drama within Woman in Crisis.
Woman in Crisis is expected to faithfully follow the makjang drama laws. These laws include a kind but frustrating heroine, a chaebol heir who only has eyes for the heroine, secrets behind birth, and kimchi-slapping. And yet, it will be twisting the cliches and provide satisfaction and catharsis.
If she confirms her appearance, Park Ha Sun will play Oh Soon Shim. She is the main character in the drama written by Gong Hyo Jin (playing Kim Ma Ri) in Woman in Crisis. Oh Soon Shim is the one who never catches on to things that everyone knows. Working as a supermarket cashier, she is an innocent woman who always stays positive and optimistic. But as the heroine of a makjang drama, she will be back as a “new woman” with a mole under her eye.
Gong Hyo Jin joined the project early on as the main character who writes the makjang drama.
How to Use Guys with Secret Tips director Lee Won Suk will helm the production. Kim Soo Ah, who adapted the script for My PS Partner and Hellcats, will pen the script.
