SHINee’s Taemin has been selected as a model taxpayer.
According to the National Tax Service on March 3rd, Taemin attended the 55th Taxpayer’s Day ceremony held at Gangnam’s Tax Office earlier in the day to be awarded a commendation. The artist has been selected as an exemplary taxpayer in recognition of his contribution to the national finances through faithfully fulfilling his duty of paying taxes.
The Korean National Tax Service announced this year’s list of exemplary taxpayers on its website, saying that Taemin gained global popularity for his outstanding singing and performances. “He contributed to the development of pop culture with his global popularity. He continues to spread positivity by participating in various donation campaigns, and faithfully fulfills his duty in paying taxes,” they added.
In other news, Taemin’s team SHINee has made a comeback with their seventh full-length album Don’t Call Me on Feb 22nd. It has been on No. 1 on various charts thanks to the enthusiastic responses of music fans all over the world.
