The new action fantasy film Seobok will be released on April 15 as the original content of CJ ENM’s OTT platform TVING.

Directed by Architecture 101 director Lee Yong Joo, Seobok tells the story of former agent Ki Heon, who is given his last order to protect mutated human clone Seo Bok, who holds the secret of eternal life. As they set off on their journey, they are caught in dangerous situations as several forces acquire Seo Bok for their own agenda.

CJ ENM’s film business department shared, “With consumers’ views and needs on content rapidly changing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to unveil Seobok via TVING to meet more audience through various platforms. Not only will Seobok be released on TVING, but it will also be unveiled in theaters. We decided that it was a way to provide more choices to the audience and coexist with theaters that are suffering from the absence of releases.”

TVING added, “Seobok is a project that can provide specialized content experiences to our TVING users, so we boldly decided to invest in it. We plan to continue to expand original content across various genres.”

Besides its release in theaters and TVING, Seobok is speeding up preparations for overseas releases.
