In 2012, Jennie took her first step in the entertainment industry through G-Dragon’s music video. Then in the music video of “That XX,” Jennie starred as a heroine of G-Dragon’s love story. It was clear. G-Dragon was Jennie’s idol and Jennie was G-Dragon’s muse.
And eight years later, G-Dragon and Jennie became a couple.
According to Dispatch, the two YG artists started dating a year ago. The place they had their secret rendezvous was G-Dragon’s penthouse. Jennie register her van to G-Dragon’s villa and always passed through the main gate without any procedures and went up the private elevator to his house.
Jennie visited her boyfriend’s house even during her Blackpink promotions. The “Blackpink schedule – date- return” routine repeated.
Their relationship is an open secret within YG. Jennie’s manager is in charge of dropping her off at G-Dragon’s house, and that job was sometimes completed by G-Dragon’s manager.
G-Dragon’s “secret” help also catches the eye. Last year, when Blackpink was filming music videos for their first full-album, G-Dragon personally visited the site. It was an encouragement as a YG sunbae and a love as Jennie’s boyfriend.
On Jan 31, Jennie was at G-Dragon’s villa when she left for her “The Show” stage, and later in the day, G-Dragon’s car was found at KINTEX (where “The Show” was recorded).
