On February 13, Ailee shared the news of her mother’s passing to her fans on her Instagram.
She wrote, “I miss you, Mom. I can’t see you anymore, but I believe that you will always support me and protect me from above by God’s sie.” She added, “The most beautiful woman in the world, my mom. Rest in peace. Your proud daughter will take care of the rest of our family with love.”. She also shared pictures that she took with her mother, revealing her love for her mom.
Fellow celebrities expressed their condolences. K-pop singer Eric Nam, Koyote’s Shinji, Singer Jamie and Ali, and Actor Park Eun Seok also expressed their sincerest condolences.
Ailee’s mother was known to be born in 1964 and passed away at the age of 57.

Since her debut song “Heaven”, the Korean pop diva has possessed many hit songs like “I Will Show You.”, “Singing Got Better.”, “Don’t Touch It.”, “U&I”, and many more which earned her the nickname, Korea’s Beyonce.
