His agency Starship Entertainment released coming-soon and scheduler images on MONSTA X’s official SNS channels to notify of I.M’s first solo digital mini-album DUALITY.

In the coming-soon poster were I.M’s keywords, including “DUALITY” and the Korean-Chinese characters which indicate the name of his new album. Expectations are mounting over what kind of stories and messages the large splashes of blue and red on the poster will hold.

The phrase at the bottom of the teaser photo ‘2021.02.19 FRI 2 PM [KST] COMING SOON’ shows when the artist’s first digital mini-album will be released. Attention is focused on what kind of music I.M will bring to the table, differentiated from his group activities as a part of MONSTA X.

The singer is known to have participated in the rap making for all MONSTA X albums. He also demonstrated versatility in his musicality as he released his songs such as “MOHAE”, “CHAMPAGNE”, “UR”, “ZONE” and “Night View”. “Night View” in particular has a history of making it to 13th place on the Billboard’s ‘World Digital Song Sales Chart’ on January 30th.
