After leaving KBS, Do Kyung Wan has made his first move as a freelancer.
Do Kyung Wan has been selected as the host of SBS FiL and SBS MTV’s trot charting program, The Trot Show. After leaving KBS as of Feb. 1st, the announcer is expected to continue his career with ever more wide-ranging activities, starting with hosting The Trot Show.
The Trot Show kicked off with its first shoot on the 3rd. It is rumored that Do Kyung Wan’s excellent hosting skills with the spectacular lineup have resulted in energetic stages.
Do Kyung Wan stated, “I’m glad to be the MC of my favorite trot program after becoming a freelancer, and I was touched by the fact that trot singers can present their own songs to fans.”
The aforementioned program is a charting show in which singers perform on stage with their songs, released under their own names. The Trot Show will be aired live once every month, as the ranking for trots will be organized through various methods such as voting and music scores garnered during the month. The show is to premiere at 9 p.m. KST on the 10th.
