Dear. M is a coming-of-age romance drama as Seoyeon University searches for “M,” the one who wrote a confession that stirred the school up. Jaehyun gives a go at acting for the first time as Cha Min Ho, an honor student of computer engineering. Cha Min Ho is a playful character who is confident and has nerves. He is a 12-year-long best friend of Ma Joo Ah (played by Park Hye Soo) as they are as close as real siblings. Cha Min Ho’s playfulness especially peaks when with Ma Joo Ah.

While he may seem sloppy on the outside, the character has an unexpected charm when he is seriously focusing while hooked on something. Cha Min Ho has app developing skills so brilliant that he entered Seoyeon Uni. through the special admission program all thanks to an app he developed in high school.

Though one might think that Cha Min Ho would be good at reading others’ minds especially as he developed an app called “BOBting” which helps matching people who eat alone, he has never dated anyone for more than a month. Ma Joo Ah teases him for this, and the quarrels between the two are already intriguing.

Dear. M plans to demonstrate Jaehyun’s various charms as Cha Min Ho. With daily pranks and naughty jokes, he will be depicted as a reliable and sweet male friend, fluttering many viewers’ hearts.

The production crew described his character saying, “Cha Min Ho will show both the romance and reality of a male friend who everyone has dreamed of at least once. Please look forward to the colorful charms of Cha Min Ho, who will be next to Ma Joo Ah sometimes as a naughty little brother, and other times as a reliable big brother.” The first episode is to air on February 26th at 11.10 p.m. KST.
