What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim director Park Joon Hwa will be joining the production of the upcoming drama My Roommate is a Gumiho.
According to SPOTVNEWS, director Park Joon Hwa will be joining the production of My Roommate is a Gumiho, starring Hyeri and Jang Ki Yong. With this, he will helm the drama alongside director Nam Sung Woo.
Park was recognized for his sensuous directing, especially in terms of romance comedy, including works like What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim, Because This is My First Life, Bring It On, Ghost and Let’s Eat 1 and 2.
Having been added to the production midway, Park is expected to use his skills to further revitalize the play.
My Roommate is a Gumiho is about a female college student who accidentally swallows the marble of a male gumiho, who had a dream of becoming a human for hundreds of years, and the romance that ensues. It is the first Korean original content produced by the global streaming platform iQIYI and is scheduled to air in the first half of 2021.
