KBS 2TV’s You Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook (commonly known as YuSuKe) announced on its official website on January 12th, “Though we wrote the co-producers and credits for BTS’s “Blue & Grey” in the captions, by using the word ‘original singer’ while talking we have caused a misunderstanding. The crew sincerely apologizes to BTS, Nive, and all fans for making it seem as if the song was produced by one individual.

Along with deleting the video clip, YuSuKe added, “With a musician’s perspective, we will pay more attention to the production of the program.”

Nive also apologized on his personal SNS on the 9th, emphasizing that “Blue & Grey” was completed with BTS members, saying, “It was my fault that I came out from the recording without correcting the incorrect expression on the spot.”

Singer-songwriter Nive starred in YuSuKe on January 8th. The show’s host You Heel Yeol introduced Nive as “the exclusive original composer of BTS’s Blue & Grey,” as he sparked controversy.

The aforementioned song is included in the album BE which was released by BTS last November. It is co-produced by BTS’s V, Suga, RM, J-Hope and also Jisoo Park (153/Joombas), Hiss noise, and Metaphor. Hence, some fans pointed out that the expression “the exclusive original composer” was disrespectful.
