The group recently came to an end with the agency’s exclusive contract. It has been 7 years since 2014, and the 2021 Golden Disc Awards will be their last group activity.

JYP Entertainment was cautious about the rumors of members transferring. They were discussing various ways to keep the group together, and was consulting with the members as the end of the contract was approaching.

Someone in the industry said, “GOT7’s members are close with each other. The members decided to stay together. However, opinions were divided as the agency made its decision. After several meetings with the company, the group decided to go on their ways.”

Members’ next choices of stay are also receiving great attention. The first member to be moving is Jinyoung. He is set to sign an exclusive contract with BH Entertainment. The details have been discussed, and he will officially begin his career as an actor.

Yugyeom was also rumored to move to the hip-hop label AOMG. This is where Jay Park, a former JYP artist, is the chief. They already held a final meeting with upper management officials. Yugyeom plans to learn hip-hop and dance professionally.

Youngjae received an offer from the Sublime Artist Agency. It is where Song Kang Ho, Rain, and Hani are signed to. It acts more as an agency than an entertainment company. It promised to support his music, commercial deals, and photoshoots.

Leader JB is also preparing for a new start. Famous hip-hop labels and global record labels have sent him proposals. He plans to make himself at home at a place where they can fully support him as a solo artist.

Foreign members are also in deep concern. Jackson’s activities are located in both China and Korea. He will join his own global label “Team Wang” to make a start in his global activities. In the case of Korean schedules, he will proceed with an agency.

BamBam will also work in Thailand and Korea at the same time. Content production agencies are expected to help him with Korean activities. His contract with Makeus Entertainment is currently being positively reviewed.

Lastly, Mark is flying back to the U.S. He plans to spend some time with his family in LA. He will also prepare to open a personal YouTube channel, as he is considering solo music activities in the U.S.

GOT7 debuted in January 2014 with Got It? and released hit songs such as “Just Right,” “Hard Carry,” and “Lullaby.”
