Seo Hyun Jin, Kim Dong Wook, Yoon Park and Nam Gyu Ri have been cast to take the lead in the new tvN drama You Are My Spring (literal title).
You Are My Spring tells the story of those who live under the name of “adult” with their seven-year-old in their hearts as they gather in the building where the murder took place.
Bubblegum writer Lee Mi Na, who also wrote the lyrics for “You are my spring” and “I will go to you like the first snow,” penned the script and The King: Eternal Monarch and Search: WWW director Jung Ji Hyun will helm the drama.
Seo Hyun Jin will star as hotel concierge manager Kang Da Jung, who considers an inn in Gangneung she stayed briefly as a kid her home. She moves into Gugu building for a fresh start, but when a murder takes place and she gets involved with Joo Young Do, she begins to face her past.
Kim Dong Wook plays psychiatrist Joo Young Do. He became a psychiatrist to make people who want to end their lives change their mind and live a full life. Behind his observant and smart appearance, he can’t hide his sloppy side. He is the kind of person who lives with a second heart that is just full of tears from living a life without a single consolation.
Yoon Park takes on the role of Chae Joon, the CEO of an investment company. He walks into Da Jung’s life out of nowhere and knocks on her heart as if he had read the “manual for Jung Da Jung.” Nam Gyu Ri has been cast to play actress Ahn Ga Young, who grew fear for love after getting abandoned by her boyfriend, who was also her manager.
You Are My Spring will premiere in the first half of 2021.
