While the K-pop scene faced another uproar amid surging Korea COVID-19 cases, MONSTA X, LOONA, Seventeen all tested negative for the virus.

After MONSTA X’s Minhyuk and Kihyun participated in the recording of MBC’s The Masked Singer, where a COVID-19 confirmed patient also took part, all MONSTA X members and their staff got tested. And today, Starship Entertainment officially announced, “All members received negative results today.”

BlockBerry Creative shared, “Back on the 15th, LOONA’s Yves and Chuu participated in a program where a staff was tested positive for the new coronavirus. We weren’t notified to undergo the testing, but we (all LOONA members and staff) got tested and started self-isolation considering their health and safety as top priority. And today, they all got negative results.”

They continued, “We will make every effort to prevent any disruptions to LOONA’s upcoming schedules, starting on the 20th.”

Pledis Entertainment also stated, “All Seventeen members were pre-emptively tested for COVID-19 on the 17th, and they all got negative results. They will resume their promotions from today.”
