UP10TION’s Kogyeol was confirmed with COVID-19 after Bitto.
On Dec 1, TOP Media released the result of UP10TION’s COVID-19 tests. They wrote, “After Bitto was tested positive for COVID-19, UP10ION members, staff and our employees have also been tested for the virus. And we have also conducted tests for artists who are at risk of secondary contact even if their movements didn’t overlap.”
They added, “In the morning of Dec 1, Kogyeol received a positive result, while Kuhn, Gyujin, Hwanhee, Sunyoul and Xiao were tested negative.”
Regarding the follow-up measures, the agency said, “The results came out negative, UP10TION members and their managers will go into self-quarantine for 2 weeks,” and added, “We will once again re-examine the members’ movements and staff members who are at risk of further infection, thoroughly take preventive and follow-up measures according to the government’s guidelines, and do our best to manage the situation and artists in the future.”
