After Jung Hyung Don decided to take another hiatus due to his health issues, his past remarks are being reexamined.
On November 6, a post titled “What caused Jung Hyung Don’s anxiety disorder” was posted on an online community. In the post, Jung Hyun Don’s remarks from his appearance on the 2019 entertainment show The Secret Garden were included.
At the time, Jung Hyung Don talked about how he got to have such a “delicate heart.” He said, “I like to challenge new places, but I’m scared of new people. But there is a clear incident that made me so.” He then hesitantly added, “Once I was filming at a marketplace, and a lady ran up to me at grabbed my p***, and then just walked away laughing. I was so shocked that I cried on the spot. Since then, I feel uneasy about the unexpected situations.”
After such remarks made headlines again, netizens left comments like “I would have been traumatized too,” “Imagine what would have happened if this happened to a female celeb,” or “There are some crazy older women who think touching there is an act of showing affection.”
Meanwhile, Jung Hyung Don halted all his schedules after his anxiety disorder worsened.
