Ji Soo might reunite with Kim So Hyun and Kang Ha Neul.

On Oct. 13, a media outlet reported that Ji Soo confirmed his appearance on a new drama River Where the Moon Rises (literal title). In response, Ji Soo’s agency stated, “It is true that he was offered the lead role from the drama, but it’s one of the many projects he is currently reviewing.”

River Where the Moon Rises will tell the tragic love story between Princess Pyeonggang, who uses On Dal’s feelings to her advantage, and On Dal, who makes foolish sacrifices. Producer Yoon Sang Ho, who directed Saimdang, Light’s Diary, Different Dreams, and King Maker: The Change of Destiny, joined hands with writer Han Ji Hoon, who wrote Time Between Dog and Wolf and Woman of 9.9 Billion, heralding the birth of a powerful and affectionate luxury historical drama.

Previously, Kim So Hyun confirmed her appearance as Pyeonggang/Yum Ga Jin, while Kang Ha Neul turned down the role of male lead On Dal and decided to make a special appearance as On Dal’s father, On Hyeop.

Ji Soo and Kim So Hyun worked together in the 2016 drama Page Turner, while Ji Soo and Kang Ha Neul starred as brothers in the 2016 drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. Naturally, attention is focusing on their reunions through River Where the Moon Rises.

Meanwhile, Ji Soo is currently starring in the MBC drama When I Was the Most Beautiful.
