J-Hope’s older sister, Jung Ji Woo, responded to the rude comments she received.

Late last month, she opened her own YouTube channel “MEJIWOO” and released vlogs that showed her daily life, including her life as the owner of a shopping mall and her weekend date. With just 2 videos, her channel garnered a million subscribers, drawing keen attention.

However, some started to pour out harsh comments, saying that she was “living off her brother’s popularity.”

To which, Jung responded via her Instagram story. She wrote, “Time for Haemin Sunim’s words. You can think all you want, but don’t send it to me.” In the photo released together, the words of Haemin Sunim is shown, “Learn how to live your life ignoring all the gossip about yourself. You will be unhappy if you care about every single one of them.”

There was another rude comment left on her channel, which reads, “It’s not like you get a penny or two with your YouTube channel… so you should admit to the fact.” In response, Jung wrote, “Did someone take the money that I don’t even know about? I haven’t even set up an ad yet, so where does this money (you say) come from? I’m the owner of the account, I know the best.”

She also added, “Someone would think that I have a building under my name or something. It’s been 4 years since the website (her shopping mall) started, and I still have times when I’m struggling, I still worry, and I earn as much as I work. I’ve never made undue profits, and it’s not a big company. I still have miles and miles to go and have a heavy shoulder.”
