BLACKPINK to Host Comeback Live Event on Oct. 2

BLACKPINK will hold a special communication time with fans on the day of their comeback with their first full-length album.

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK will hold a comeback live for about an hour from 10 a.m. on Oct. 2 KST, three hours before releasing their first full-length album, THE ALBUM.

In the broadcast, which will be broadcast live on VLIVE, BLACKPINK will talk about various things, including the introduction of their new songs and spoilers of their new music video for the title track.

In addition to the mission games, special sessions have been arranged, including a program where fans can read their wishes. You can send your wishes for BLACKPINK through Twitter hashtags.

BLACKPINK will release all tracks from their first full-length album on Oct. 2 (12 a.m. EST & 1 p.m. KST).

Details about the upcoming album, other than individual posters that give you a glimpse into the overall concept of the songs, are still shrouded in mystery. Nevertheless, fans already have high expectations for their new music as BLACKPINK showed tremendous ripple effects with pre-released singles “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream.” On Oct. 14, Netflix original documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky will also make its debut.
