In the midst of LOONA’s preparations for an October 19th comeback, it has been shared SM Entertainment’s Lee Soo Man participated in producing for the group once again.

According to multiple industry sources, producer Lee Soo Man participated in creating LOONA’s upcoming mini-album ‘Midnight’ (12:00). This marks his second time producing for the group, as he participated in producing LOONA’s mini-album ‘Hash'(#) this past February.

LOONA’s agency Blockberry Creative responded, “Lee Soo Man participated in producing LOONA’s new album. As we will meet fans again with good songs and a good album, we hope you look forward to it.”

Aside from SM Entertainment artists, LOONA is the first group that Lee Soo Man directly produced for.

Through an interview, the LOONA members revealed how Lee Soo Man came to know their group: “Producer Lee Soo Man said that he got to know about us after he saw our ‘Cherry Bomb’ dance cover video. At first, we couldn’t believe it and we were honored. We believe that the combination of our hard work and efforts in preparing [for the album] and Lee Soo Man’s producing led to a great result.”

Lee Soo Man’s participation is expected to build anticipation among fans and music officials worldwide. Focus is on what kind of music and concept LOONA will come back with.

LOONA consists of members Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Gowon, and Olivia Hye. The 12-member group caught the attention of the entire industry through their large-scale debut project: each member released their own single as they were introduced to the public. LOONA is currently receiving lots of love from fans worldwide thanks to their unique and solid “universe” and trendy musical taste.

LOONA’s 3rd mini-album ‘Midnight’ (12:00) will be released on October 19th at 6:00 PM KST.
