I Wish the World Would End Tomorrow is a sitcom about the love, friendship, and youth of multinational students living together in a university dorm in Seoul.

Producer Kwon Ik Joon, who has produced Korea’s most popular sitcoms from Three Guys and Three Girls to the Nonstop series, will act as both a creator and director. Producer Kim Jung Sik, who has worked on sitcoms like High Kick series, Potato Star 2013QR3, and Smashing on Your Back, will direct certain episodes. They joined forces with screenwriters Seo Eun Jung (Soonpong Clinic, New Nonstop) and Baek Ji Hyun (Nonstop Seasons 1-3, Rude Miss Young Ae). As the “sitcom Avengers” has come together, attention is focusing on whether they will be able to create a K-sitcom syndrome beyond Korea.

Park Se Wan plays Se Wan, a teaching assistant who is in charge of monitoring the dormitories. Shin Hyun Seung, a rookie actor who beat out 5000 hopefuls in an audition, will play the role of Jamie, a new student at the dorm from America.

Youngjae plays Sam, the son of the chairman of the global food chain who grew up in Australia. Minnie plays Minnie, a student from Thailand who has fantasies about Korean dramas. Han Hyun Min takes on the role of Hyun Min, a Korean student who failed to enter the international dorm and has to commute five hours each day for school.
