BLACKPINK is heightening the atmosphere with their individual teaser posters.
From Sept. 22, YG Entertainment has been releasing BLACKPINK’s individual teaser posters for the group’s first full album, THE ALBUM, drawing keen attention from global music fans. As the members’ colorful visuals take off their veil one by one, questions are being raised as to with what concept the group will attract fans in their new music.

Two types of posters are being unveiled. In the first poster, members are in charismatic styling under the overall-blue toned lighting. Wearing fancy accessories and thick makeup, each member is giving off a strong vibe. But in the second posters, members flawlessly pull off more natural makeup and styling and are posing under a brown-toned lighting, showing off their dreamy and sensual charms.
BLACKPINK will release all tracks from their first full-length album on Oct. 2 (12 a.m. EST & 1 p.m. KST). Details about the new music are still shrouded in mystery, but the recently-released teaser posters indicate a starkly different mood from “How You Like That” and “Ice Cream,” raising the expectations. On Oct. 14, Netflix original documentary BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky will also make its debut.
