Actor Lee Ji Won has been cast in OCN’s Amazing Rumor.
OCN’s new original Amazing Rumor will be an adaptation of a webtoon of the same name. The drama is about “Counters” that have to capture evil spirits who return to earth. Lee Ji Won plays Oh Joo Hyun, who is a counter alongside Kim Sejeong and Jo Byung Gu. She has a special bond with Jo Byung Gu’s character and will show off her chemistry with the trio.
Lee Ji Won recently appeared in SKY Castle and earned praise and attention from the public.
Forest Entertainment said, “As this drama is an adaptation of a webtoon, Lee Ji Won is studying her character so that she can preserve the visuals and original intent of the webtoon and show off her charms. Please give her your support and attention.”
Amazing Rumor will premier in the second half of 2020 after OCN’s Search.
