The Hollywood remake of The Man from Nowhere is speeding up.

According to Deadline, John Wick director Chad Stahelski will act as the producer for the Hollywood remake of The Man From Nowhere, produced by New Line Cinema.

In the Hollywood version of The Man from Nowhere, in which CJ E&M also participates in the joint production, Chad Stahelski is said to be only involved in the production and not at all in directing. Derek Kolstad, a screenwriter who became widely known as one of the creators of the John Wick franchise, will take charge of the script.

The 2010 box office hit The Man from Nowhere, starring Won Bin, is an action film directed by Lee Jeong Beom. At the time, the movie attracted more than 6 million viewers despite being R-rated. It follows the story of a mysterious and shady man (Won Bin) who embarks on a bloody rampage when the only person who seems to understand him (Kim Sae Ron) is kidnapped.
