tvN’s new weekend drama Stranger 2 has confirmed the date of its first broadcast to August 15.

On July 24, Stranger 2 released the character posters of Jo Seung Woo and Bae Doo Na. On the posters, the date of the first broadcast and meaningful copies are written.

Jo Seung Woo’s poster has the phrase, “If you don’t stay silent, you’ll find the answer.” Bae Doo Na’s poster has the copy, “The god can’t be stopped, but the truth has to be revealed.”

Stranger 2, set two years after Stranger, tells the story of solitary prosecutor Hwang Shi Mok and active detective Han Yeo Jin, meeting once again when the prosecutor’s office and the police find themselves on opposing sides, and approaching the truth of the concealed cases.

Last season, Jo Seung Woo was assigned to the office in the South Sea even after eradicating absurdities. In the season, he will be called by the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office after completing his two-year term.

On the contrary, Bae Doo Na enjoyed the honor of being promoted at the end of last season. After the special promotion, however, his rank got higher than that of the team leader, making her position somewhat ambiguous.

The production team said, “The prosecution and police council will be formed to adjust the investigative rights of the prosecution and police. The two will meet again where the prosecution and the police clash.
