SHINee’s Onew and actor Kim Min Seok will be discharged from the military today after completing their military service.
Onew will be discharged from the military as a sergeant after completing his military service on July 20.
Onew, who joined the Army in December 2018, recently took his last vacation in the military and was discharged without returning to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections.
Onew became the first member of SHINee to fulfill his military duty. Currently, SHINee member Minho is serving in the Marine Corps, and Key is serving in the Army.
Actor Kim Min Seok will also be discharged from the Army today.
Kim Min Seok joined the military in December 2018 and took his last vacation on July 5. He will not be returning to the base following guidelines to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and will be quietly discharged from the military without any other events.
The actor made his debut in 2012 with through tvN drama Shut Up: Flower Boy Band. Since then, he starred in Descendants of the Sun, Doctors, Defendant, Age of Youth 2, and Because This is My First Life. The last project he worked on before joining the military was tvN’s one-act play Drama Stage Season 2: Withdrawal Person.
