ZICO talked about Rain‘s participation in the featuring of his new song.
On July 1, ZICO appeared on MBC Radio FM4U’s Good Morning FM Jang Sung Kyu to promote his upcoming album.
During the radio, ZICO talked about Rain’s participation in his new song “Summer Hate.” He said, “The lyrics right before the chorus is ‘I just hope it rains.’ So I naturally thought of him.”
When asked if he was trying to ride on Rain’s recent “GANG” craze, he answered, “I first contacted him way before the ‘GANG’ craze started. We’ve been in touch for 6 months. Working on the song, I really wanted Rain to participate.”
Meanwhile, ZICO is set to release his summer album Random Box today (July 1).
