UPDATE: ‘Broadcasting on Your Side’ Stops Filming After a Person Who Appeared on the Show Shows Signs of Fever

According to Broadcasting on Your Side, the person in question was tested negative for COVID-19.

On March 9, an official from the show told TV Report that the person in question conducted the COVID-19 test and was tested negative. He also added that he has returned to his normal life.

No actual date has been decided to resume filming.

Broadcasting on Your Side canceled all filming after a person who appeared on the show came down with a fever on March 7.

MBC’s Broadcasting on Your Side told Xsports News on March 8 that they have conducted prior interview with all of the cast members, production team and ordinary people who appear on the show due to the spread of COVID-19 in order to carefully check their history of visiting high-risk areas and health conditions.

They also added that they “checked the temperature with a thermometer at the filming site on the 7th and rented the entire site to go through disinfection process on the previous day.”

“However, during the filming a person who appeared on the show showed signs of fever, so we stopped the filming immediately to ensure the safety of the people,” they continued. “The person showed normal body temperature after being taken to National Inspection Center and conducted the test just in case. The exact diagnosis is scheduled to come out at 9:00 a.m. next Monday, so we will keep a close eye on the situation and make out utmost efforts for safety.”

Broadcasting on Your Side is a show, in which the casts cheer the people who face little challenges in a ring called life. The show airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m. KST.
