On March 2, actor Ha Ji Won confirmed her appearance in the upcoming movie Bikwang (working title).
Bikwang is a family noir film directed by Lee Ji Won, who previously directed Miss Baek. The movie tells the story of the glamorous couple who struggles to get everything back after they fall into the abyss after being involved in the incident.
Ha Ji Won will work with Ryu Seung Ryong, who confirmed his appearance earlier, as couples. Ha Ji Won plays the role of Nam Mi, a top star who is over the hill, and will present an intense character.
Attention is drawn to the meeting between director Lee Ji Won, who has charmingly portrayed a self-reliant and strong female character through her previous work Miss Baek, and Ha Ji Won, who has been presenting her acting prowess by performing in various genres ranging from romance to action.
Bikwang is scheduled to start filming in June.
