Goo Hara’s Sudden Death has Affected Many Korean Celebrities

Many Korean celebrities were deeply affected by the death of former KARA member, Goo Hara, after she was found unconscious at her residence on Sunday, November 24th.

Entertainer Kim Shin Young shed tears on air while hosting her radio show, CL delayed her first release, Kang Daniel was spotted wearing all black, Nam Tae Hyun posted a candid photo of both Sulli and Goo Hara, T.O.P. posted messages sent between himself and the singer on his Instagram, Kim Heechul unfollowed everyone on his Instagram after making his profile private, EXO adjusted their teaser schedule for ‘Obsession’, AOA cancelled their showcase, Crush postponed the release of his new album, former KARA member Seungyeon went straight to Hara’s residence after the news hit, and former KARA member Youngji did not attend the ‘Comedy Big League’ taping.

Many other Korean celebrities, such as MAMAMOO, NCT 127, UP10TION, Park Ji Hoon, Giriboy, Park Min Young, DinDin, Tiger JK, and more, have also expressed their condolences and said their farewells through their socials, and some adjusted their schedules to mourn for Hara’s passing.

Within just a two month span, two beloved, beautiful K-pop stars – Sulli and Goo Hara – ended their lives, which have left many to question what has happened to the K-pop industry.
