After THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo has been emboiled in rumors of dating violence and school violence, his agency vehemently denied the allegations and heralded firm legal actions.
On Feb 23, Cre.ker Entertainment stated, “We inform you that false information about THE BOYZ member Sunwoo is being circulated online, and that there was no physical violence like what is mentioned in the deleted post.”
Earlier, a netizen who claimed to be Sunwoo’s classmate wrote on an online community, “When you were in middle school, your girlfriend came to school covered in bruises because of your dating abuse; you smoked outside instead of coming into class; you constantly drank alcohol and said dirty jokes; isn’t that school violence?”
The writer continued, “I don’t know if a guy like you should live a happy life. I thought about making this public thousands of times even before your debut.”
In response, Sunwoo refuted such claims as groundless, and the agency heralded legal actions, stating, “We are continuously collecting data and reviewing legal action against those who spread groundless false information, write insulting personal attacks and malicious postings.”
