Kang Daniel has shown his passion for the new song “PARANOIA” on MUPLY Live, to the point of earning the title of ‘Crazy Daniel.’ The artist also dropped surprising news about his collaboration with Wet Boy. “Kang Daniel x Wet Boy Special Collaboration NOW” was first unveiled on Naver TV’s monthly MUPLY episode, aired on the 16th.
Kang Daniel appeared on the show while making an entrance while dancing with Wet Boy. The live was more special as it aired only two hours after Kang Daniel’s new song was released. The artist briefly introduced the new song “PARANOIA,” saying that “I’m paranoid because I’m afraid I’ll hurt someone. The lyrics are more metaphorical than literal, so they contain a lot of stories behind them.”
It was revealed that Wet Boy was cast as the director. He said that he was worried about whether he could do it after being offered the place. “I was worried that I’d only be a bother, but I changed my mind completely after having a meeting with Daniel,” he said. Kang Daniel also admitted that a lot of ideas were thrown around in the meeting.
While talking about the song, Wet Boy said that Daniel has a new character named ‘Crazy Daniel.’ The singer himself also agreed, saying that he is crazy about his work. “I would also like to participate as a creative director too,” he added.
When asked to show the moves for his new song “PARANOIA,” Kang Daniel drew attention as he demonstrated the choreography, and warned everyone to be “careful of [their] backs and necks.”
