
Disney Plus has officially revealed its Korean originals slate for 2026. From high-stakes thrillers and fantasy epics to star-driven romances, the upcoming lineup is packed with ambitious projects. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming.
A Shop for Killers Season 2
A Shop for Killers returns with a second season in the latter half of 2026. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun reprise their roles following the explosive success of Season 1, joined once again by Jo Han Sun, Geum Hannah, Lee Tae Young and Kim Min. New cast additions—including Pachinko‘s Hyunri and Drive My Car’s Masaki Okada, and Exhuma‘s Jung Yunh—are set to expand the series’ intense universe.
Battle of Fates

This supernatural survival show brings together 49 fortune tellers who must test their destinies through a series of missions. Centered on the globally intriguing theme of K-shamanism, the series promises a bold twist on the survival genre with heightened immersion and originality.
Bloody Flower

A mystery thriller that asks a chilling moral question: what if a serial killer could cure incurable diseases? Bloody Flower follows a criminal who murdered 17 people for “treatment,” igniting a nationwide debate. Ryeoun, Sung Dong Il and Keum Sae Rok face off in a tense psychological battle. The 8-episode series premieres February 4th, with two episodes released weekly.
Gold Land

Set to premiere in the first half of 2026, Gold Land follows a woman who accidentally comes into possession of gold bars tied to a smuggling ring, triggering a spiral of greed and betrayal. Led by Park Bo Young, the series boasts a powerful ensemble cast and is helmed by Confidential Assignment director Kim Sung Hoon and Oldboy writer Hwang Jo Yoon.
Made in Korea Season 2

Returning in the latter half of 2026, Made in Korea continues with its original cast, including Hyun Bin, Jung Woo Sung, Woo Do Hwan and Seo Eun Soo. With new characters joining the story, Season 2 promises expanded conflicts and even stronger chemistry.
In Your Brilliant Season

In Your Brilliant Season explores the meeting of two opposites: a man who lives life like a never-ending summer vacation and a woman frozen in emotional winter. Lee Sung Kyoung and Chae Jong Hyeop star in this visually rich love story, brought to life by She Was Pretty writer Jo Sung Hee and Wonderful World producer Jung Sung Hee.
Perfect Crown

Slated for an April release, Perfect Crown is set in a modern constitutional monarchy in South Korea. IU and Byeon Woo Seok star as a chaebol heiress and a powerless royal prince navigating love beyond social status. Helmed by What’s Wrong with Secretary director Park Joon Hwa and writer Yoo Ji Won, the series is already one of the year’s most anticipated titles.
The Husband (working title)

A romance thriller centered on a man’s desperate race to save his wife after she is kidnapped just before their divorce. Namkoong Min leads the series alongside Lee Seol, delivering an emotionally charged pursuit under the direction of Hyper Knife‘s Kim Jung Hyun.
The Remarried Empress

Based on the globally beloved webtoon with over 2.7 billion views, The Remarried Empress follows an empress who chooses remarriage over humiliation after being divorced by her emperor. Starring Shin Mina, Ju Ji Hoon and Lee Jong Suk, the series blends romance, political intrigue, and large-scale world-building.
Portraits of Delusion (working title)

Set in 1935 Gyeongseong, Portraits of Delusion follows a painter who becomes entangled with an enigmatic woman hiding dangerous secrets. Suzy and Kim Seon Ho star under the direction of Han Jae Rim, promising a visually stunning and emotionally haunting series.
