Gold Land follows Hee Joo (played by Park Bo Young), who accidentally gets her hands on a smuggler’s gold bars and finds herself in a desperate struggle as she’s consumed by the desire to keep it all. Director Kim Sung Hoon joined the cast on stage.

Park Bo Young promised a complete transformation in her next role. “She’s a character who unintentionally gets gold bars, and being human, she starts to feel greed,” Park said. “You’ll be able to see her slowly transform as she becomes consumed by that desire.” Director Kim added, “Good and evil aren’t clearly divided. This is a series about the conflict inside all of us.”

A Shop for Killers is officially returning for Season 2. Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun will reprise their roles, joined by new cast members, Japanese actors Hyunri and Masaki Okada.

The new season picks up after the shocking finale, where Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), who was presumed dead, reappeared. “Jin Man’s return was a crucial plot device, so it was important to pull it off well,” Lee Dong Wook teased. “You can find out why he came back in Season 2.”

Director Lee Kwon promised an upgraded scale. “If Season 1 showed Muay Thai-based action,” said Kim Hye Jun, “this time, you’ll get to see full-scale firearm action.” The new cast members will play mercenary siblings from the main villain, Babylon, who have a past connection to Jin Man.

The highly anticipated MBC drama 21st Century Grand Prince’s Wife is also coming to Disney Plus for global audiences. The series is a romance set in a modern-day constitutional monarchy, featuring a chaebol heiress who seems to have it all but is frustrated by her ‘commoner’ status, and a prince with no real power.

This marks the first new project for both IU, following When Life Gives You Tangerines, and Byun Woo Seok, after Lovely Runner. An exclusive preview trailer released early at the venue already teased their chemistry, showing a cold Byun Woo Seok in uniform opposite a lively IU as the two slowly begin to connect.

Based on the hit webtoon, Delusion is a mystery thriller set in 1935 Gyeongseong. It follows painter Yoon Yi Ho (Kim Seon Ho), who is commissioned to paint a portrait of Song Jeong Hwa (Suzy), a mysterious and alluring woman surrounded by dark rumors.

The series is the second from The King director Han Jae Rim. The trailer screened at the venue captured a chilling atmosphere, with Suzy transforming into a captivating vampire, seen ruthlessly biting a neck and performing dynamic action. “We are filming well,” the two stars said in a video message. “Please look forward to it.”

The event’s grand finale was The Remarried Empress, a fantasy romance based on the globally popular webtoon. The story follows the perfect Empress Navier (Shin Mina) of the Eastern Empire. When her husband, Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji Hoon), falls for a former slave, Rashta (Lee Se Young), and demands a divorce, Navier shocks the world by agreeing on the condition that she is permitted to remarry the prince of the rival Western Empire, Heinley (Lee Jong Suk).

Shin Mina, Ju Ji Hoon and Lee Se Young were present at the event. “I was so curious how the original work would be dramatized,” Shin Mina admitted. “It was a new kind of project for this industry, so it felt a bit unfamiliar at first.”

Ju Ji Hoon joked about his royal role, “My debut role was a crown prince, so this is familiar territory for me.” Lee Se Young introduced her complex character, saying, “I’ve never done a fantasy project before. Rashta is a person who starts out pure but gradually becomes consumed by greed.”
