Netflix has officially greenlit its new series Perfect Job (working title), announcing a powerhouse cast including Lee Jae Wook, Go Min Si, Kim Min Ha and Lee Hee Jun.

The mystery horror fantasy centers around a strange employment agency that exclusively offers “perfect part-time jobs” starting at 50 times the normal hourly wage. The story unfolds as a young man named Hyuk Joon finds himself working in hellish conditions where unimaginable horrors await.

Lee Jae Wook, known for his breakout role in Alchemy of Souls, will play Hyuk Joon, a debt-ridden young man who answers an ad from the mysterious Spider Employment offering astronomical pay. His character quickly becomes entangled in bizarre supernatural phenomena that throw his world into chaos.

Adding to the star power, Go Min Si of Netflix’s The Frog takes on the role of Yeon Ju, a determined workplace accident investigator who actively pursues the mysterious occurrences at Spider Employment.

Kim Min Ha, who captivated global audiences in her first leading role in Pachinko, will play Hyuk Joon’s younger sister Ji Yoon. With the motto “poverty is scarier than ghosts,” Ji Yoon is a straightforward character who constantly bickers with her debt-ridden brother who seems to have no future or answers. However, she shows her human side as she grows concerned for her brother, who appears increasingly anxious after starting his new job, helping him in unexpected ways.

The enigmatic boss of Spider Employment will be portrayed by Lee Hee Jun, known for his commanding presence in films like Handsome Guys and Bogota. His character mysteriously continues offering Hyuk Joon irresistibly high-paying jobs from unknown clients.

Perfect Job is expected to deliver a fresh take on the mystery horror fantasy genre under the direction of Kim Da Min, who wrote the script for the Netflix series A Killer Paradox and gained recognition at prestigious film festivals with FAQ. The screenplay was co-penned by Urban Myths writer Kyung Min Sun and Lee Shin Ji of Concrete Utopia, creating a compelling script that heightens immersion.

Additionally, Han Jun Hee, acclaimed for his screenplay and direction of the Netflix series D.P. and the film Coin Locker Girl, as well as being the creator of Weak Hero Class 1, joins as the creative director, promising to deliver a horror experience unlike anything viewers have seen before.
