Kim Soo Hyun was nowhere to be seen in the behind-the-scenes footage of a celebrity auction and group song recording featured in the April 6th episode of MBC’s Good Day.

The cast members enthusiastically participated in an auction of their personal belongings, followed by a complete performance of the group song “Telepathy.” G-Dragon, who produced the track, also oversaw the recording session, directing Code Kunst, Yim Si Wan, Hwang Kwang Hee, Jung Hae In and Jo Se Ho as they took turns in the booth. However, Kim Soo Hyun did not appear in any of these segments.

In March, the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron claimed that she had been in a relationship with Kim Soo Hyun for approximately six years, starting when she was still a minor. They made these allegations through the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute, also known as HoverLab Inc., and demanded an apology.

Kim Soo Hyun initially denied any romantic involvement but later acknowledged a one-year relationship with her after she reached adulthood. During a press conference on March 31, he tearfully claimed that he was being falsely accused and that the evidence presented had been fabricated. He announced plans to pursue legal action against both Kim Sae-ron’s family and Garosero Research Institute, including a defamation lawsuit seeking 12 billion KRW (approximately $8.2 million) in damages.

Good Day initially faced criticism for including Kim Soo Hyun’s footage without fully editing him out, despite the gravity of the allegations. In response, the production team issued a statement: “We recognize the seriousness of the controversy involving the cast member. We are proceeding with production while prioritizing feedback from our viewers.”
