Seo Kang Joon is trading his suit for a school uniform in MBC’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama Undercover High School, with the first teaser showcasing the actor’s dramatic transformation and action-packed performance.

The 30-second preview introduces Seo as Jung Hae Sung, a National Intelligence Service agent who goes undercover as a high school student. The mission at stake is recovering national assets worth 800 billion KRW (approximately 556 million USD)—specifically, tracking down missing gold bars dating back to Emperor Gojong’s era.

The teaser wastes no time establishing Seo’s commanding screen presence, with the actor cutting a striking figure even in standard school attire. In one particularly tension-filled moment, Jung delivers the line “Shall we begin?” with a determination that promises viewers they’re in for a wild ride.

“This first teaser was carefully crafted to make a powerful statement for Seo Kang Joon’s first project since completing his military service,” the production team shared. “The synergy between Seo’s previously unseen charms and the character of Jung Hae Sung has created an incredibly compelling dynamic.”

Undercover High School is set to premiere on February 21st at 9:50 PM KST on MBC, offering viewers a unique spin on both the high school and spy genres.
